Our dog, Benny, loves Canine Cabana! He has been visiting 2 or 3 times a week since they opened and we sometimes worry that he is happier there than at home! He was a fearful, shy dog when we adopted him and the staff at the Cabana has worked with him to make him much more secure and comfortable with strangers. He loves to run and the grass-covered play areas are perfect for the dogs to run and chase and play with each other. We have boarded him several times and he always comes home healthy and happy and squeaky clean. They even wash his bedding before sending us home with it. We love the self-service dog wash, too – so much easier than using the bathtub at home! All of the staff members are friendly and caring and professional. We looked at many of the other dog day care and boarding facilities in the area and Canine Cabana was head and shoulders above the rest. Benny recommends Canine Cabana to all of his dog friends and they all love it too!

Trusted Doggie Daycare provider

Our beloved doggies, Talia and Tobias, asked us to let you know how much they enjoy coming to the Cabana each week for daycare.  From the time they get in the car for the ride their excitement builds and when we pull into the parking lot they can hardly contain themselves.  Talia and Tobias enjoy playing and running around with all their Cabana playmates and love the caring watchful eye of all the Staff.  As doggie parents we are 100% confident that they will be safe and well cared for.  We drop them off in the morning without any worries or concerns.  We choose the Cabana after visiting and seeing firsthand the cleanliness of the facility and meeting the kind and knowledgeable Staff.  Our dogs are overall happier and more socialized since attending the Cabana.  It’s also nice that the Cabana gives us a break from the ‘kids’.

Top Notch Dog Daycare

Blue has been going to Canine Cabana since it opened.  When I first toured the facility, I was very assured by how clean everything was.  They have a gigantic play yard outside which is sectioned off so groups don’t get too big.  They have pools and sprinklers for the dogs to play in when it’s hot outside and the kennels for the dogs to sleep in are very spacious. Blue goes to daycare twice every week and he boards whenever we go out of town.  I hate leaving my dog when I travel, but I am so grateful that when I have to he is in great hands. My dog requires a lot of extra attention because of his allergies and medications, but the staff always treats him like their own.  Blue gets so excited when I take him he actually waits by the garage door on Tuesday and Friday mornings.  I am so impressed with the individual attention he gets. Every staff member loves him and he loves every one of them!  I had taken him to other daycares in the past, but this one is top notch!  I will never go anywhere else!  We are so happy to be a part of the Canine Cabana family!

First Rate Care at Canine Cabana

Our Little Belle was a five-year old rescued Chihuahua who never had a chance to be socialized with other animals or people while growing up. After we adopted her, we decided to look for a day care center to help her learn these skills.

We could have not found a better place than Canine Cabana. However, dropping her off on that first day for her evaluation was very hard. She surprised us and did very well. On each successive visit to the Cabana, she became more confident and friendly with the animals and staff. Within weeks she had fallen in love with Kendall and Angie!

She has been attending day care once a week for two years and we have boarded her twice during the past year. The care she receives is first rate. She absolutely loves going to the Cabana.

Cabana Dog since she was a puppy

Words are not enough to express the gratitude we feel towards you and your staff at Canine Cabana.  Gabby, our 2 year old lab, has been coming to the Cabana since she was 12 weeks old.  I am convinced she is the sweet, well-socialized, well-mannered dog she is today because of the care and attention you all have shown her. 

Gabby comes to Canine Cabana every Tuesday, although if it were up to her, it would be every day!  She can’t sleep Monday nights because she is so excited for Tuesdays to get here!  She knocks everyone down in the house Tuesday mornings as she runs for the car to enjoy her day with her canine and human buddies at the Cabana!  I have to say my goodbyes in the car before I take her in, because as soon as she is through that door, she doesn’t look back or shed a tear!  It is such a great feeling to know that she is so well-taken care of and has so much fun!

When we go out of town, we make sure to make our reservations for Gabby at Canine Cabana as early as possible.  Your overnight care is the best I have seen anywhere!  Your facility is spotless and we enjoy our time away even more knowing she is being well taken care of.  And, she gets the total spa treatment including bath, nails, and a thorough brushing before we pick her up! 

Your entire staff is extremely professional and dedicated.  Gabby and I are always greeted by a smile and friendly conversation. Gabby loves everyone there, as she happily demonstrates with her kisses and tail wagging (o.k. maybe it is her entire back side that wags!)

Wonderful Staff gives dog love and exercise

We have been part of the Canine Cabana family since they opened almost 2 years ago and would never consider taking our Mini Australian Shepherd, Barkley anywhere else. Barkley looks forward each morning to spending time with his friends and we know while we are working all day Barkley is not only having fun but getting the exercise that he needs. Kendall & Angie, the owners as well as the rest of the staff are wonderful and love Barkley as much as we do. We appreciate all that they do.

Part of the Cabana Family

After adopting my pointer mix, Kramer, I certainly had to make some changes in my daily life - most importantly save energy to exercise the wild beast! But as a middle school teacher, I am often too tired when I get home to give him the proper exercise he deserves. The Cabana to the rescue! Kramer spends Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays chasing his friends, playing with the staff and exhausting himself (he's usually passed out by the time I buckle my seat belt)! I know that while I'm keeping 8th graders in line, the caring staff at the Cabana is keeping Kramer in line, too. Even after moving more than 30 miles away, his Cabana days are still my favorite days of the week, as I know Kramer is having fun and getting love and plenty of exercise from his Cabana family!

Canine Cabana stands out from all the rest

Words we try to not say too loud around the dog: treat, walk, squirrel and Canine Cabana.  These words create a frenzy of excitement.

Our dog Ace will be 11 yrs old this year.  We have jobs that force us to travel and so we kennel Ace when need be.  We’ve tried lots of kennels – ones that had “suites” with fluffy pillows and chew toys  - ones that had web cams  - and others that just had cages.  So, we have seen it all.  But Canine Cabana stands out from all the rest.  

We knew this was a good kennel when after Ace’s first visit he did not want to come home.  With every other kennel he would be whining to leave and would race to the car.  But not with Canine Cabana.  Our second visit, he ran out of the car to the door and was scratching the door to get in!  And every time since then, when we drop him off he does not even take a second look back at me – see ya!   We actually think he is disappointed when we pick him up.

Being an older dog, Ace has some special needs and we can always count on the staff to listen and follow through with any special instructions.  They treat your dog like their own.  We never fear for his safety or well being.  And know that if anything were to happen he would be in the capable hands of Kendall and Angie.    We would not trust another kennel with Ace.

Canine Cabana is a superb place for your pets

We have been bringing our Lab “Hershey” to Canine Cabana since he was a puppy.  Over the past 15 months, he has thrived with all the other dogs there.  The staff at Canine Cabana are not just looking after our pets, they have become part of our and Hershey’s family!  You know it is a wonderful  place when you take your dog 3 times a week for “daycare” and the days you do not  he  looks at you like ”are we going?” and you have to sadly say “not today”! I love the updates, when I pick him up in the afternoon,  on what our boy was “up to” today.  I never worry and always know he is at a Superb Place. We would recommend Canine Cabana to everyone who owns a dog and wants to have a place to take their pet to be socialized, get rid of excess energy and also to be boarded when away on vacation.

Canine Cabana is the best … Arf! Arf! Arf!

Arf! Arf! Canine Cabana is so much fun! My mom and dad work full-time and I have A LOT of energy … so they pack me a dinner and take me to daycare Monday through Friday. I love it there. I have so many friends and the yard in the back is huge! I get to run around all day and play! I've also had a sleepover there and, although I missed my home and masters, the staff made me comfortable.

Even better are the staff members. They are so nice to me and I thank them every day by giving lots of kisses. They've even been consistent with my mom and dad's efforts to teach me to “sit” and “stay.” I'm a better listener since I started coming here and I'm exhausted at night! It's nice because then when my mom and dad pick me up, I can just relax and snuggle with them.

Facility is immaculate, cheerful, and well-managed

Canine Cabana is the best thing that could have happened for Mocha and his family.  When his previous daycare was closing, we were all stressed about what to do…especially Mocha as he just loves to play with his friends all day!   (And when he doesn’t get his playtime, he can wear us all out at home!!! ) And then …   there came Canine Cabana…… coincidentally enough, opening the day after his other one closed…..needless to say, Mocha was one of the first ones in the door!!  Angie and Kendall and their staff are the best!  They are so enthusiastic, professional, and they all absolutely love the dogs….and it shows!  The facility is immaculate, cheerful, and well-managed  Mocha jumps out of the truck to run inside and does not want to leave when mom or dad come to pick him up.  We refer all of our friends and customers to Canine Cabana and will continue to do so, trusting that all the dogs will receive the same care and love attention as our precious Mocha!   Thanks, you guys, for everything you do !!!
