Day Care/Boarding

Canine Cabana's dog day care is off-leash group play in a supervised, safe, and most of all fun environment. Dogs will build their social skills while playing with other four legged friends.

--You spend time away from home during the day and do not want to leave your best friend home alone.

--Your dog simply has too much energy and not enough ways to exercise at home.

--Canine Cabana may be the perfect fit for both you and your dog. When you pick up your dog at the end of the day, he will be well exercised and ready to go home and relax with you.

By keeping your dog active, you are ensuring a mentally and physically healthier pooch. Canine Cabana's dog day care can help alleviate behavior problems such as separation anxiety, destructive chewing, and barking. These behavior problems can be a result of being left alone, being under-stimulated, or simply a lack of adequate exercise.

Canine Cabana has a one day entrance evaluation for all dogs entering day care. Trained staff will perform a temperament test and carefully place each dog in a playgroup that is best suited for their personality, play style, age, and size. Day care is not for every dog.

Canine Cabana is conveniently located in Riverview off of Boyette Road less than one mile West of Bell Shoals Road . Canine Cabana offers 2,000 square feet of indoor air conditioned play area and over 5,000 square feet of outdoor tree covered play area. During a typical excursion to Canine Cabana , your dog will play in our indoor and outdoor play areas. Full time day care dogs will have one scheduled nap from 11:30AM-1:30PM.

Canine Cabana follows guidelines set forth by Pet Care Services Association (PCSA) including maintaining a ratio of one trained staff member per 15 dogs in a group and staff maintaining a constant physical presence with the dog playgroups.  For additional information on PCSA and/or help selecting a pet care facility, please go to How to Select a Pet Facility .PDF

As anxious as we are to meet your dog, we ask that you come in and take a tour of our facility without your dog first. We will be happy to answer any questions and have you complete an enrollment form. Our staff at Canine Cabana will review your form and call to schedule an appointment for your dog to come in and meet us and a few of his playmates. For the safety of all of our four legged friends, every dog must go through a one day behavioral assessment. The cost for the first day is $22.00.

At Canine Cabana, overnight care is all inclusive. We do not charge extra for special diets, medications, play, love, petting, or phone calls home.

Any bed, favorite blanket, or special items your pet may need during the day or for sleepovers. Please pack enough of your dog's food for the entire stay.
